The Burton AK 2L Stagger jacket is for riders who want the functionality of a fully Gore-Seam taped 2 layer Gore-Tex shell but like a little insulation in their jacket rather than a full layering solution. The Stagger manages this by stitching 40g of zonal Thermacore insulation into the upper back and front body of the jacket to heat your core while the arms
and hood are left as a shell for unrestricted movement and lighter weight. As you would expect from a top end jacket the Stagger is all about keeping you comfortable as well as warm and dry, it does this using all of Burton’s accumulated know how with an engineered articulated fit, low profile hood, hem and hood cinches, micro fleece lined hand warmer pockets, removable waist gaiter, a zip out removable face gaiter and all new powder gasket cuffs to keep the snow out of your sleeves. It’s Burton’s attention to detail that has set the bar so high with the AK series, this jacket even has reflective strips so if you hit the après bars too hard at least the traffic will see you on the Stagger home!
