Lib Tech Jamie Lynn Phoenix Classic Series Snowboard 157 Wide - 2013
All new for 2013 Lib Tech’s experimental division have teamed up with snowboard legend Jamie Lynn to create an all new camber profile, C3BTX, that harks back to shapes prevalent in the 80’s and 90’s but gives it a new twist for modern times. C3BTX features a slight rocker between the feet with positive camber extending from the binding inserts all the way to the top and tail. The advantage of this shape is more control end-to-end and increased snap while still maintaining float when conditions get fluffy. The flex pattern is mellower on this board than almost any other in the Lib Tech family and marries up perfectly with the camber profile making the board fun to ride and controllable whatever conditions you find yourself in. As Jamie had a hand in bringing this board to life he designed the graphics for it too and we think its one of his most seductive pieces to date. The Phoenix Classic is a board for those that liked things the way they used to be but realise evolution is inevitable.

Lib Tech Jamie Lynn Phoenix Series Snowboard 154 - 2013
The Lib Tech Phoenix Series has evolved over many years under the expert guidance of Lib Tech’s experimentalists and Jamie Lynn, one of the smoothest and most stylish snowboarders ever to grace our sport. As befits Jamie’s riding style his board employs slightly mellower geometries than most of its stable mates to create a riding sensation that is less aggressive and more graceful. Jamie has changed the side-cut radius for a mellower turn initiation and, while the board still come with Lib Tech’s patented Magne-Traction edge profile, it is a more subtle incarnation that still performs in hard pack but allows a looser skate inspired riding style. The Jamie Lynn is still a chargers snowboard and benefits from Lib Tech’s C2BTX profile that gives the rider optimum float without sacrificing control. Aside from his riding style Jamie is renowned for his artwork and designs the top sheet and base graphics for all his boards making them iconic and collectable as well as beautiful. This is a board for the artists of the slopes who draw their lines on the mountain with a style that most of us can only dream of and is accessible for intermediate riders upwards.

Lib Tech Mark Landvik Phoenix Series Snowboard 160 - 2013
Those of you who are familiar with last years movie sensation ‘The Art of Flight’ will already know about the prodigious talent of Alaskan ripper Mark Landvik, those of you who haven’t managed to catch it yet should really get it! Mark’s riding style is full speed and technical, while somehow managing to be creative, all on a giant scale. His board then needs to be tough, fast, stable and controllable which it manages by having Lib Tech’s C2BTX profile for control, grip and float complimented by 3D bamboo organic throttle pads under each set of binding inserts for those massive landings and a super fast TNT base. As with all Lib Tech boards the Phoenix Series contain organic compounds, fibres, inks and glues to make it as environmentally friendly as possible in an effort to save our snow. We think that the artwork on this board is particularly awesome too and is another of Jamie Lynn’s creations making it coveted as well as eye catching. The Mark Landvik Phoenix Series is a snowboard for riders who charge their lines at full speed and drop anything that gets in their way with a smile on their face and Ullr on their team.

Lib Tech TRS Snowboard 154 - 2013
The Lib Tech TRS, or Total Ripper Series, has been designed and ridden by some of the gnarliest dudes in the game as Sammy Luebke, Blair Habenicht and Eric Jackson have all had their say in its creation. A slightly softer flex pattern than its stable mate the Travis Rice Pro makes the TRS more accessible to mere mortalsbut still has enough about it to rip around the mountain, as the name implies. The TRS features Lib Tech’s C2BTX camber and edge profile for poise and control on piste, float in the pow, manoeuvrability in the tight spots and grip when its icy.The TRS does its bit to help natures delicate equilibrium too, by reducing the amount of fibreglass used in its construction, sourcing wood from certified sustainable forests and incorporating water soluble dyes to create its eye catching graphics it it hope to preserve the winters for future generations. The twin shape and flex of the TRS hint at its all-mountain freestyle credentials but even if you have no intention of landing spins or riding switch the TRS will take you anywhere you want to go on the mountain and is always eager for more!

Lib Tech Skate Banana Snowboard 159 Wide - Red - 2012
Way back in 2006 there was a revolution brewing in the snowboard world. At that time there were as many brands, give or take, as there are now and every brand had a plethora of snowboards in their stables but every one of them had the same basic camber profile, a camber profile that had been based on a ski design. Lib Tech was at the forefront of the 2006 revolution, they debuted the Skate Banana and changed the profile of snowboarding forever by re-introducing reverse camber and inventing magne-traction. Now, some years on from that breakthrough year, there are as many different camber profiles as there are snowboard companies but the Skate Banana is the board that started the revolution and it remains largely unchanged from 2006. The Skate Banana features Lib Tech's BTX profile, a continuous rocker that starts from the centre point of the board and increases float, reduces the risk of catching an edge and makes buttering and spinning more intuitive and easier to land. The BTX profile also features Magne-traction, a serrated edge profile that give the rider 7 points of contact along the edge for greatly improved edge hold in icy or hard-packed snow. The Skate Banana has won so many awards since its launch that there are too many to list here, you can rest assured that it's a super fun board that can be ridden by any level of rider who is looking for a mid flexing board for freestyle and pow, it's not often you get to ride a revolution...!

Lib Tech T.Rice Limited Edition Snowboard 153 - 2012
Somewhere in the USA, close to the Canadian border there is a little factory that makes snowboards. They have come to prominence in the last few years after re-inventing reverse camber profiles and extolling the virtues of the humble banana as a snowboarding maxim. They have won widespread acclaim for their endeavours both in the recreational circles and among the pros with their team roster now reading like a who's who in snowboarding with Jamie Lynn, Jesse Burtner, Mark Landvik and Jakob Wilhelmson all amongst their ranks. The cherry on that particular cake is widely regarded to be T(ravis).Rice, the eponymous hero of this particular snow stick famed for his parts with the Absinthe crew and latterly his own movies 'That's It That's All' and most recently 'The Art of Flight'. Anyone who has seen any of his movie parts, or better still seen him rip up close, will tell you that he is full on all the time so it stands to reason that he'll need something pretty special under his bindings to cope! The T.Rice Pro has been part of the Lib Tech stable for a few years now and features the C2BTX profile, camber under the feet, reverse camber through the rest of the board and Lib Tech's magne-traction edges, which delivers speed, power and control on any terrain. The T.Rice Pro is for advanced riders who treat the whole mountain as their playground, the shorter lengths feature a blunted nose for reduced spin weight while the longer lengths have a pointy nose for better balance and float in the deeps. This is a serious snowboard for people that ride on the redline all the time and need something that can keep up!
Now, to celebrate the aforementioned release of Art of Flight, Mervin have collaborated with Brain Farm and Travis to bring you this limited edition of Travis’ pro model snowboard. Not only do you get a copy of the Art of Flight with the board, you get a limited edition art book, which features a selection of Travis’ favourite stills from the movie and, most importantly, the board itself that comes with another limited edition, this time an art piece by Mike Parillo adorning the top sheet. All in all it’s a special package with more limited edition shizzle than a Portland hipster, get yours while you can.

Lib Tech TRS Snowboard 159 - 2012
Now, you will probably remember that a few years ago Lib Tech revolutionised snowboarding with their re-invention of reverse camber when Banana technology first appeared in the multi award winning Skate Banana. Well, the good people at Lib Tech don't like to rest on their accumulated laurels and have honed their profile altering skills to provide us with all manner of shapes and cambers to aid us in our quest for the perfect riding experience in 2012! The TRS or Total Ripper Series features the same camber profile as Travis Rice uses in his pro model, C2BTX, which is designed to give you lightening response through the camber sections under the bindings while the rest of the board is reverse cambered to give you maximum float and freestyle potential in any conditions. The C2BTX profile also features Lib Tech's magne-traction sidecut which looks weird and serrated but actually gives the rider 7 contact points along the edge of the board for improved hold in icy conditions and riding pipe. As the name suggests the TRS is for advanced freestylers who want to combine their park skills and love of pow to rip up the back country as Jakob Wilhelmson, Sammy Luebke, Eric Jackson and Martin Cernik can all attest to having designed and tested this board from its inception to the finished article you see before you here. Made for the steeps and deeps of Jackson Hole, Whistler and Mt. Baker the TRS has ripped up some of the most famous lines in the snowboarding world, now its up to you to put it through its paces!

Lib Tech Skate Banana Snowboard 159 - Red/Blue - 2013
It’s hard to find something new to say about the Skate Banana, it has been winning award after award since it innovated its way onto the scene nearly ten years ago and journalists, enthusiasts and professionals have lauded it ever since. There are many reasons for this acclaim, most centred on the revolutionary technology that changed snowboarding for ever, some on the artist driven vibrancy of their top sheet artwork and more still on Lib Tech’s industry leading environmental approach to building snowboards. Let’s start with the technology, the Skate Banana was one of the first boards to reintroduce reverse camber after it had briefly made an appearance in the 1980’s but what was so revolutionary was the introduction of the corrugated edge profile, Magne-Traction. The reverse camber, or banana profile centres the riders weight between the bindings to enhance float, catch free riding and makes spins easier to land as it ‘loosens’ the nose and tail. When riding hard pack however the loose nose and tail can make the board feel twitchy, this is where Magne-Traction works its magic! The corrugated profile allows the rider to initiate a turn from one of the seven ridges running along the edge, rather than the ends of the effective edge, giving the rider more grip than normal even when only half the board is in contact with the snow. The Skate Banana is conscious of its environment too with Lib Tech leading the way with its use of renewable wood, toxin free dyes and the use of castor beans to lessen the amount of harmful fibreglass used. This is a serious snowboard designed by some of the most forward thinking dudes in the business, get one and see what all the fuss is about!

Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro Snowboard 164.5 - 2013
What can you say about Travis Rice that hasn’t already been published? He has pushed the boundaries of what is possible on a snowboard, his movies rival Hollywood for production values, so what about his snowboard? Well, as you might expect, these push the realms of the possible too, from industry leading environmental production right through to a cutting edge board profile and technologies this is the tool that helps Travis stay ahead of the game. The Travis Rice Pro comes with Lib Tech’s C2BTX profile, a combination of reverse and positive cambers allied to Magne-Traction, a corrugated edge profile, that deliver power, poise, float and grip whatever terrain you are charging. As befits a snowboard designed for a deity of the sport the Travis Rice Pro is fairly stiff in terms of flex giving the rider full control even at ludicrous speeds while the camber combination still allows the board to be pressed and buttered by the brave. This is a snowboard for advanced, aggressive riders who charge every line they ride and need a board that can keep up.

Lib Tech TRS Snowboard 154 - 2012

Lib Tech Skate Banana Snowboard 159 Wide - Blue - 2012

Lib Tech T.Rice Pro Snowboard 157 - 2012

Now, we don't want to come across all righteous here, our accumulated sins would take a lifetime to repent and we don't have time. Anyway, suffice to say that the global warming issue is perhaps more pertinent to snowboarders than anyone else outside Holland and many in the industry are concerned enough to make it a priority. Lib Tech are one such brand and they have put their heads together with Travis Rice to create a fibreglass free incarnation of his X-Games slaying pro-model. The Horsepower construction not only makes you feel all warm and environmental as you strap in, the materials used are lighter than are used in the T.Rice Pro so the Horsepower feels slightly lighter and more poppy than its namesake and has better float when you get into the deep stuff. Make no mistake though, the Horsepower has Travis' name on it so it's born to slay the big lines and has been designed for riders who want a fast, stable platform for ripping around from peak to park and into the backcountry. Not content with making the T.Rice Pro Horsepower one of the 'greenest' snowboards in the business Lib Tech and Travis wanted to sprinkle some magic dust just to make sure we knew it was special, the magic dust landed on the topsheet making it sparkle while some slipped into the sidewalls and now they glow in the dark, now if you're stuck for a Halloween costume you can go as a snowboard.

Lib Tech TRS Snowboard 159 - 2013
The Lib Tech TRS, or Total Ripper Series, has been designed and ridden by some of the gnarliest dudes in the game as Sammy Luebke, Blair Habenicht and Eric Jackson have all had their say in its creation. A slightly softer flex pattern than its stable mate the Travis Rice Pro makes the TRS more accessible to mere mortalsbut still has enough about it to rip around the mountain, as the name implies. Lib Tech TRS Snowboard 157 - 2013
Lib Tech Skate Banana Snowboard 156 Wide - Yellow/Green - 2012

Lib Tech Skate Banana Snowboard 156 Wide - Red/Blue - 2013
