English wildflowers tend to be small & dainty. Beautifully coloured, certainly, but not very big. In America things are different. The cosmos, which grows on scrub & meadowland in the southern states, is bigger & bolder. But still beautiful, which is why it's such an excellent stem to add to your mixed arrangements. & in the best spirit of the 'special relationship', it blends happily with flowers from this side of the pond.
