While Abed decides to film the proceedings for a documentary about the production, Pierce locks himself in a rented trailer to protest its low budget. Nervous about being seen in the commercial after he resumes his career as a lawyer, Jeff does everything he can to ensure that the footage of him is unusable, including turning in a very strange performance as the character of Dean Pelton and informing actor and Greendale alum Luis Guzman that his image is being used without his permission. But both strategies backfire when Pelton loves his performance and Guzman offers to appear in the commercial himself.
