The Helly Hansen Men’s Atlas Ski Jacket not only looks great, it feels great, offers all the insulation you’ll need, has ample pockets, a powder skirt & even comes with a life-saving Recco system. The insulation is gained through the 80g of excellent Primaloft evenly spread between the waterproof & fully breathable layers of Helly Tech Performance material. This material allows your body moisture to escape but won’t allow water to enter, meaning you’ll remain dry all through the day. There is also the Helly Hansen FLOW system on the inner back – five soft bulbous patches that help to keep the jacket off the back & provide air movement within the jacket, helping to maintain body temperature using your body movement to ‘pump’ the air around the jacket when each of the panels is compressed. But if you’re exerting yourself a little too hard, but conditions don’t allow you to unzip the front of the jacket, simply use the pit zips to allow fresh air to enter & circulate inside the jacket. The removable hood is insulated & features a draw cord to hold it in place. There’s also a draw cord on the hem too, plus Velcro sleeves having extended wrists with thumb holes – all combining to ensure your body heat is held inside the jacket. There arefour outer & two inner pockets, all having zips & all offering ample room for everything you will need while skiing, including your pass. Finally, the powder skirt inside the jacket can be stowed away when not required within the zip-up compartment around the inner back of the jacket, & the full length zip is covered by a storm flap that locks in place using a series of hidden magnets. This really is one phenomenal jacket, packed with features.
