Product Description

An excellent garden plant that does the business in early spring with large flowers held aloft on strong stems above the fleshy foliage.

Bright, orange-red flowers formed like a polyanthus with multiple flowers originating from a single basal stem. Flowering begins as the sun returns in early spring, directly after a flush of fresh new foliage. It will generally keep flowering into summer until it gets too hot. Often semi-evergreen, retaining some of its leaves over the winter months, this plant is reliably hardy & a great doer.

Needs reasonable soil moisture to avoid getting crispy foliage & is best in light shade where flower colour is richer.

Height: Up to 30cm in flower.
