Product Description

Crops in: July
Rootstock: Colt (semi-dwarf)

Acid type cherry. Fruit bright red & glossy, ripens late but hangs well on the tree. Delicious for preserving or jam, pie or liqueur making. Will crop in partial shade. Self-fertile.

Pollination: This cherry is self-fertile (flowering group 5) but may be planted with any other of our cherry varieties (in flowering groups 4, 5 or 6) to ensure best pollination. Makes an excellent pollinator for many varieties of sweet cherry. Instances of poor pollination are nearly always caused by bad weather at blossom time, limiting the activity of insects.

Planting distance: 5m (16ft)
Approximate height 3m (10ft) after 10 years.
