Pashtun - Chair
This Spring were unveiling some unique limited edition chairs covered in re-worked vintage Suzani decorative throws. We came across the throws by chance in Paris but having found out more about their history - traditionally the throws are embroidered with words and pictures celebrating family or village events - and having fallen in love with their colourful craftbased charms, we had to find a new use for them. We have given them a fabulous new lease of life by using them as upholstery applied to stunning new chairs by British craftsmen. Each one is beautifully finished to retain some of its vintage charms and each one is unique. More a work of art than a workaday chair, each one would make a stunning focal point for any room.
