The 19th century American icebox is the inspiration behind the Fridgey collection, a range that embodies the retro elements of a bygone era of simple refrigeration systems. The proportions, curved lines, & detailing of Fridgey are reminiscent of the 1930s Art Deco style, & each Fridgey piece comes complete with self-locking handles & hinge mechanisms that have been produced to exacting standards. The collection sees a modern translation of the icebox into functional pieces including cupboards, entertainment units & cabinets, & is available in two unique finishes: tavern &8211; an all-wood finish produced from reclaimed timber salvaged from traditional Chinese doors, & spitfire &8211; produced from interlocking aluminium panels & multi-riveted construction inspired by the historic Spitfire jet fighter.
