(NOT A CLEAR VISOR AS SEEN IN THE IMAGE) The K.31 CRONO in Black Carbon is made by the Italian company KASK which provided the helmets for Team SKY rider, Bradley Wiggins who won the 2012 Tour de France. Chris Fromme, his teammate, came in second. Fromme also wore KASK helmets as he raced through the demanding stages of the Tour de France. Team Sky chose KASK to cover the heads of their riders because the superior quality of the helmets provided superb protection but they were still lightweight & with enough ventilation to keep the riders feeling fresh. The K.31 CRONO is a time-trial helmet made with internal pivots & intelligent tail shape that make it easy for riders to get their head down low even if they are inflexible. The Up-N-Down Adjustment System has a unique double pivot design which has a central ratchet wheel that is easy to adjust so that you have a perfect fit. The one-size-fit-all K.31 CRONO has a series of inner adjustments that you can fine-tune so that you are comfortable & exceptionally protected. The inner padding is made from Cool Max® fabric which keeps your head cool & dry when it absorbs & evaporates your sweat. The Cool Max® layer can also be removed & washed. The frame has been strengthened so that it doesn’t shatter in the event of a collision with the pavement. The chin strap is made from comfortable leather & is also non-allergic.
