- it really did! Helmet Mount Please be aware that the Joystick lights we have in stock come with a helmet mounting bracket, not a handlebar one. Handlebar brackets are available separately for those who prefer to mount the light on the bars, & that is useful if this is going to be your only light or your main light for road riding & commuting. The reason Exposure like to ship these with a helmet mount, apart from wanting to sell you a separate one for your bars, is because they like to think you'll have at least two high powered lights for your off-road night rides
- a big one like the Maxx-D on your bars & a helmet mounted, narrower beam for directional lighting. This is an excellent idea for off-road riding after dark to maximise your vision & avoid nasty surprises in the dark, like low branches, roots & rocks or grizzly bears.
