Luce is the new addition to the women’s saddle range from fi’zi:k. It is available in 2 different widths with either carbon braided or s-alloy rails. The shape has been designed by working with a group of female athletes, experienced cyclists & beginners to get a good all round view of what women want from a saddle. As a result the overall length is shorter, the rear of the saddle is wider with a narrower nose & the gradient between the two is more significant than can be find on a men’s saddle. This allows for enhanced thigh movement whilst pedalling. The saddle is fi’zi:k’s first saddle with a hole in the base to provide pressure relief. In order to obtain the stif, durable base that the brand’s saddles are known for the rail system was completely redesigned. The point at which the rails meet the base is narrower than the standard rail systems allowing even more wing flexibility to increase comfort whilst cycling without reducing stiffness & power transfer.
