Versus X took the pressure relief chancel concept of fi’zi:k’s successful Versus saddles & expanded it further with a channel design that has a smoother, more ergonomically-shaped profile that improves comfort & relieves the sensation of pressure. Versus X feature a channel width up to 30mm & depth up to 20mm for optimum pressure relief.NEW for 2016 – the foam compound is softer & the edges of the channel are more rounded. Arione VS X is for The Snake: Flexible Spine. If you are very spinally flexible (far less than 90 degrees between your straight legs & your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders’ width apart), you are a Snake. You achieve the performance position using your spinal flexibility alone, not rotating your pelvis at all. You will like the flat, narrow & long shape of the Arione. Provided this saddle’s width isn’t too narrow for them, some women may find this model comfortable due to the presence of the relief channel.
