The C60 is fully handmade in Italy, with great care – the same care that we’ve used over the last 60 years. The frame is made from carbon fiber, with star-shaped lugs & tubes – an iconic design element that started with the Master. The sections of the tubes have increased volume with thinner walls. The same concerns the lugs. They are larger & stiffer, designed with the same shape of the tubes. In summary: the C60 tubes & lugs provide greater stiffness & resistance to bending. The rear dropouts have also been completely redesigned, to reduce weight & achieve greater lateral stiffness. However, if a reservoir has not been cleaned after every use, & mold or discoloration develops:1. Use hot water & a Camel Bak Cleaning Tablet. (Or use 2 tablespoons of baking soda or bleach instead of Camel Bak Cleaning Tab.) Mix the solution inside your reservoir & elevate the reservoir above the tube & Big Bite Valve. Pinch the bite valve, allowing the solution to flow into the drink tube & fill the bite valve.2. Let the reservoir & cleaning solution sit in the reservoir & drink tube for about 30 minutes.3. Wash the reservoir with hot water & mild soap. Be sure to completely rinse away the cleaning solution in the reservoir & drink tube before using again. You can also use Camel Bak brushes from our Cleaning Kit to scrub your reservoir & drink tube. Brushes are the best way to ensure you are scrubbing all of the areas of the reservoir clean.4. Once the reservoir is clean, be sure to air dry overnight so no moisture is trapped inside, which can cause mold to grow. These steps will make your reservoir safe for use. If there are still spots left behind, these are permanent mold stains that may not be removable. However, your reservoir is still safe & usable after you’ve cleaned it. ...
