Includes:: frequency sweeps for checking frequency response reference tones for testing channel output & tracks to test tracking ability. Tracks 9-14 contain a 315 Hz signal recorded at increasing pick amplitudes helping you to adjust the anti-skating correction of the tonearm or increase vertical tracking force for optimal performance. The record also features a square waveform for monitoring cartridge output with an oscilloscope ensuring correct cartridge connection. After the successful completion of these tests your cartridge should be optimised delivering a superior sound experience. Remember to maintain your records & stylus by removing dust before & after each playback & occasionally using a light spray of contact cleaner on the tonearm socket. Note that some phono equalisers may generate tone distortion which isnt related to the cartridge.
