The Klipsch R-50PM Reference Powered Speakers are two-way st&-mount speakers that surpass the performance of their predecessor the R-51PM model. The R-50 P Ms are powered speakers with built-in amplification in the primary speaker eliminating the need to connect them to an external amplifier or AVR. A passive crossover means this primary speaker powers the other via a passive crossover making them powered rather than fully active speakers. With both of the two channels driven you can achieve 120 watts of total system power with 60 W per channel at less than one per cent THD. The R-50PM pairs a one-inch LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) aluminium tweeter with a 5.25-inch TCP spun copper mid/bass unit. These LTS tweeters feature Klipschs exclusive 90 x 90-degree Tractrix horn ensuring room-filling sound. With a deeper cabinet too the R-50 P Ms provide an enhanced bass extension of 55 Hz. Including an integrated phono pre-amp & Bluetooth connectivity this pair of bookshelf speakers can be seamlessly merged with your vinyl or streaming setups.
