The JBL Conceal C86 is a three-way dual-panel architectural loudspeaker designed to be hidden entirely within the walls of your home cinema system. As the flagship model of the Conceal Series it offers an unobtrusive solution for those craving high-quality sound without sacrificing room space. The C86 like the rest of the Conceal Series features patented technologies such as the compression moulded baffle with a Fidelity Glass acoustic panel. This panel is designed to be painted/finished to seamlessly merge with the surrounding wall surface. It installs as easily as a standard drywall patch with its edges flush to the wallboard meaning you can even apply wallpaper to the surface of the loudspeaker if you wish. This speaker has two panels designed to separate the low-frequency driver from the highs & mids. The former the LF driver is an eight-inch woofer; whereas the latter consists of four 1.18mm voice coil mid-range transducers & a one-inch tweeter. An integrated wooden back box enclosure surrounds these drivers custom transducers & the premium acoustic crossover network ensuring sound cannot leak into the surrounding walls. The result is a simple high-performance solution for architectural audio.
