The Audio Technica VM520EBH Moving Magnet Cartridge with HS10 Headshell features a high-quality aluminium cantilever enabling precise sound reproduction. As with the VM530ENH cartridge two magnets are arranged to match the positions of the left & right channels in the stereo groove walls. This "V" shaped magnet arrangement allows for magnified stereo separation & broad frequency response ensuring a clear crisp sound output. Thanks to para-toroidal coils the VM520EBH reduces magnetic flux leakage so nothing can interfere with the sound of your records. The permalloy-made centre shield plate will suppress electrical crosstalk to below 40d B delivering a crosstalk reduction that is similar to the value found in the grooves of the records themselves. For superb playback this cartridge provides an elliptical bonded stylus that optimises the 23-degree tracking angle & delivers a supreme sound once it hits the vinys groove. The VM520EBH even comes fitted with a lightweight aluminium HS10 Headshell. Crafted with precision this headshell offers reduced vibrations four-pin turntable compatibility & finger lift so you can easily switch between your favourite songs.
