If a towing kit is not present on a pool cover it is usually pulled onto the pool by the corner of the material. Not only does this sometimes become difficult, it also puts a weak point on the material & over a period of time it can tear.
The leading edge & tow kit is manufactured from polyester netting & coated with PVC for extra strength & durability. Polyethylene foam inserts provide the necessary buoyancy & a rope which is the length of your pool is connected as the pulling cord. You can then stand at the opposite end to the roller & glide the cover onto the water.
This easy to install DIY leading edge & towing kit comes complete with all necessary fixings & pulling cord.
If you are ordering a new cover from us at the same time, you have the option in the relevant cover page to add a factory fitted leading edge to your basket.
