Product Description

Contemporary Polish artist Robert Proch combines state-of-the-art animation, Impressionism, & modern graffiti for a palpably twenty-first century style. His work responds to the bland futurism of the modern metropolis: freed from spatial limitations, Proch creates cubist-inspired urban landscapes which seem to shift & distort under the viewer’s gaze. ’ Time for Change’ has the quality of a stilled animation: with its block-painted form, the realist image assumes a haziness that borders on beautiful abstraction. A jauntily assembled tower dominates the blue landscape, while a tiny figure can be seen, leaping through the air. Quiet & contemplative, with a dreamy quality you can get lost in, this is landscape painting for the twenty-first century.
