The Apollo triple bunk is the ideal sleeping solution if you have kids sharing a bedroom or if you need extra space for guests staying over. The bunk bed frame has a standard size single bed on the top with a full size double bed below. If required in the future, the bunk can be split to provide two separate bed frames. Constructed from rubberwood the bunk frames look is truly enhanced by its warm antique colour. Rubberwood is a popular choice with furniture makers as its one of the more durable hardwoods used today. Unlike softer woods it has very little shrinkage & is extremely hard wearing. Despite its name, rubberwood does not bounce or stretch; the name is a reference to the parent tree (Hevea Brasiliensis) also known as the Para rubber tree. The Sweet Dreams Apollo bunk frame is solidly built with double bolts on each corner with a fixed ladder & 4 safety rails for additional safety. The mattresses are supported by wooden slatted bases.
