Complete Climbing Frames: The Gate Lodge (Without Swing Arm)
The largest of our Climbing Frames, the Gate Lodge was designed to be a combined activity centre for younger children as well as a Wendy House + Fort + sleeping den when they are older.
The upper cabin is large enough for three teenagers to sleep in comfort. Beneath the cabin is a play area 1.8m x 1.8m fitted with a table and two bench seats.
There is enough room around the table to create a play area, even spread out some sand for small kids. The upper cabin can be accessed by a ladder with 5 x 40mm hardwood rungs, or the climbing wall fitted with professional grips, and not to forget the 3m green wavy slide.
To complement the Gate Lodge is a range of accessories including a full-sized Assault Course, Commando Net and
Clatter bridge. The walls of the cabin follow a unique design which allows natural movement of the timber without having to use nails or screw, resulting in no splitting of the wood. The overall feel of this Climbing Frame is of quality construction and components. We use pressure-treated planed rectangular timber to minimise splits and cracks. Detailed assembly instructions and all necessary fittings are provided to make construction a straightforward DIY job, although this unit is more complicated than our other Climbing Frames and requires more planning.
