rescue bid to save the
Townsend Croquet Brand.
This well loved and well
respected croquet
manufacturing brand was
in trouble and without
help would have vanished
without a trace. At

Garden Games Limited had
recently launched the
Longworth Croquet set and
was looking to expand
into the Croquet market.
It a perfect fit and so
the deal was struck and
Townsend Croquet joined
the Garden Games family.
Garden Games took over
the Townsend brand from
Charles Townsend in 2002
and began a review of all

After a great deal of

to players who may have
