Two nostalgic images by artist John Chapman.  Mostyn Street in Llandudno & King William Street in Blackburn.  These streets may have changed in many ways since the 1950’s – the tram has gone & there are certainly lots more cars in Llandudno’s High Street, but it is still renowned for the variety of shops & restaurants which populate Mostyn Street.  The Market Hall & Clock Tower featured in the centre of King William Street was taken down in the 1960’s, & the street has changed a lot since this view was painted, but still shoppers enjoy a visit to the street. Painted in subtle pastel colours, these jigsaws are bound to be enjoyed by puzzlers who know Llandudno & Blackburn, & will also be enjoyed by those who like to remember a quieter time in our lives. The finished size of each of the two 1000 piece puzzle measures 68 x 49cm (approximately) & has been produced using a high quality cardboard to ensure every jigsaw piece maintains its original shape time & time again.
