Product Description

Californian winemaker Mark Shannon fell in love with Puglia after working there briefly as a consultant. He returned with a view to creating the regions single best wine, choosing as his raw materials the premium fruit from 70-100 year-old Primitivo vines. In heat-steeped 2003, he succeeded admirably in capturing the power & concentration of the vintage. Densely-packed with vigorous, opulent black cherry & liquorice flavours, this is a blockbuster style for hearty dishes.
