Product Description

Burgundian winemaker Samuel Berger makes the wines at advertising mogul John Hegartys Carcassonne estate; a state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly amphitheatre of vines facing the Montagne Noire. This succulent blend of Syrah 70%, Grenache 20%, Carignan 10% is aged in huge oak foudres & bottled, unfiltered, according to the most propicious phase of the moon. Red meat wine, with grip & power: big, dense baked fruit flavours, pepper & spice. American wine guru, Robert Parker, awarded this wine 93 points out of 100.
