They’re successful predators, able to kill prey up to three times their own weight.A relative of the mongoose, the fossa is unique to the forests of Madagascar. The fossa is a slender-bodied cat-like creature with little resemblance to its mongoose cousins. The fossa is the largest carnivore & top predator native to Madagascar & is known to feed on lemurs & most other creatures it can get its claws on.
