As much as people love fish, many of us lack the confidence to deal with both the preparation required & how best to cook it. Using a variety of fish you will practice core knife skills & explore a range of cooking methods whilst paying particular attention to the pairing of flavours. The result
- a culinary feast to end the day! After a warm welcome on arrival, you will meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the day's programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking. What you cook on the day depends on the location you choose, but generally you will cover cooking fresh crabs, filleting round & flat fish, preparing fish stocks & classic fish based sauces, cooking muscles & preparing your own lobster. At the end you will either be able to sit down & sample what you have made over a relaxed meal with the other attendees or take it away to enjoy later. The exact format varies depending on the cookery school & class chosen.
