Luxury Vineyard Tour With Overnight Stay For Two
this tour for two and overnight stay offers an unforgettable experience to explore england's premier organic vineyard, which also happens to be the largest and oldest organic vineyard in the uk! a perfect day out with a choice of two different hotels to stay in. you will have the choice of either:the powdermills hotel which is available sunday to friday and is an 18th century listed country house nestling in 150 acres of beautiful parklands, woods and large lakes. it is situated 15 minutes from the vineyard. the powdermills hotel will require a £20 supplement fee for a friday or saturday night booking.the brickwall hotel which is available seven days a week and is a 16th century tudor mansion in the heart of the east sussex countryside. it is situated 5 minutes from the vineyard. the
brickwall hotel will require a £10 supplement fee for a friday or saturday night booking. start your experience by checking in at the shop where you will receive a map and a sheet of information explaining the different vine varieties and the organic/biodynamic grape growing methods used at sedlescombe. you can then take a leisurely stroll through three beautiful vineyards set in the 'high weald area of outstanding natural beauty' and experience organic grape growing at first-hand. the trail also takes in three acres of ancient english woodland.on your return you'll head to the winery where a guide will show you the equipment used to make sedlescombe's international award-winning wines, and explain some of the fascinating processes involved. from there it's on to the 'bar-in-the-barn'
where you can delight in tasting the full range of these home-grown organic and biodynamic wines, including whites, red, and fizz as well as fruit wines and delicious liqueurs.to round off your visit you will be served a delightful cream tea complete with fresh strawberries or a ploughman’s platter lunch with a glass of either sedlescombe rose sparkling or regent red!finish your tour with a bottle of 2013 red or 2013 old vine white wine to take home.
