- fun, informal gatherings which take place all around the country in specially selected venues. the events are specifically designed to make learning about wine & tasting the varieties on offer an experience that everyone can enjoy, hosting around 200 guests at each gathering.with the wine makers & tasting experts on hand to answer questions & offer guidance, these events are ideal for those who are completely new to the wine tasting game as well as those who might have tried something similar before. the events take place in a variety of venues all around the uk, from historic warships like the hms warrior, to country house hotels, to iconic venues like titanic belfast, each one is a unique experience. you can choose the nearest one to you, or go for an event a little further afield, at a venue which holds a particular appeal or just in an area which takes your fancy. to begin the event, you will be greeted with a glass of fizz, in a glass that is yours to keep. you then simply pass from table to table at your own pace tasting which ever wines you like. laithwaite's wine staff will be there to serve you & are on-hand to discuss the wines, or anything else with them if you wish. you will be able to sample over 25 fantastic wines from across the globe, including a number presented by their producers. if you are entering the event a novice, you will most certainly be leaving a connoisseur!this voucher entitles two adults to the wine tasting evening & a bottle of champagne & two crystal champage flutes.at the end of the evening you will fill out your order form requesting the champagne & flutes & any other wines you may wish to purchase.
