Karting is one of the closest experiences to being in a Formula 1 car & youll often find top Formula 1 drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, honing their skills in these small nimble machines. But unlike Formula 1, karting is accessible to everyone & this experience is like no other karting experience. So if you know somebody that is mad about driving fast, you cant go wrong with this experience. Your day will begin with registration & breakfast, followed by a morning sprint event featuring up to 35 drivers using 70mph Pro Karts in a series of practice sessions & quick fire heats. After the mornings action, a finger buffet lunch is served & then participants are back out on circuit for a 45 minute endurance event using 80mph Sport Karts to finish the day. With this experience you will get the opportunity to paddle both an open canoe & a kayak across the water. There is such a thrill in powering yourself along with a paddle in your hands. The kayaks & canoes used are very stable & designed for tuition so you are unlikely to fall out unless you try very hard! From this full day session you will be able to take on this sport in a more indepth way & if you really enjoy it, help you to progress on to BCU star awards. This course is aimed at the beginner to those with some understanding of digital photography. Even if you are using some of the manual controls on your camera but don't fully understand the practicality of the manual controls
- this course will suit you. The day will include several workshops in aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance & exposure control. It will also include the rules of compensation & how you can apply compensation creatively to drastically improve your photography. You’ll learn how to create depths of field & how to produce a sense of movement to capture the action. These workshops are designed for you to get the most out of your camera both practically & creatively. By spending the day with professional instructors, they will help you develop your practical & creative skills. You won't be overloaded with jargon or rules as there are no rules to photography! By the end of the workshop you are guaranteed to feel confident & imaginative enough to produce amazing photographs. To make the most of your experience, the instructors will be at hand to answer any questions you may have weeks or even months after your course. The day starts at 9.30am & finishes around 4.30pm
