This tutored class is a fantastic introduction to the basics of bread making. The experience takes place at The Land Girls Cookery School, a charming place that offers a friendly, relaxed, informal yet informative cooking classes for complete novices to professional chefs & bakers. All of the classes are hands on, meaning that you will be doing everything step by step alongside the tutor, & this way you have their full attention & expertise. With this experience you will learn the basics of good bread making including choosing the right flour, kneading techniques, proving methods, shaping, toppings & baking, wrapping, presentation, storage & use by dates. As part of the process you will make a cob loaf & half a dozen large bread rolls. You will be provided with several flour choices as well as a few special blended flours & a selection of seeds & other ingredients to enhance your chosen flavour. Your bread will be entirely your own creation! You will of course get to take your produce home, but butter is on hand just in case you cannot wait.
