With its miniature size, wall mounting design & plug & play technology, it’s easy to use & deploy – there’s no need for new wires or cables within range of an existing wireless network. Just plug it into a standard electrical wall socket.
The smart signal indicator light is an easy way to help you find the right location to place the device to achieve the best possible range & performance of the network.
5 signal lights represent the current signal strength that it receives from the existing router.
Once you’ve found the best spot for the device, you then just push the WPS button on your router followed by the range extender button on the TL-WA854RE or vice versa.
Another push of the pair button can quickly establish an encrypted connection with client devices. The device’s profile function also remembers previously paired wireless networks, meaning there is no need to reset the device when changing the paired router.
It is ideal for smooth HD video, music streaming & online gaming thanks to 300 Mbps wireless 802.11n speeds. With universal compatibility working seamlessly with all 802.11 n/g/b wireless devices, it’s also compatible with popular operating systems – including the latest Windows 8 operating system. It also supports domain name-based login (http://tplinkextender.net) for advanced management
