The DS-049 set contains a tray for up to six 35mmm negative/slide film (un-cut strips) & also a tray for mounted four 35mm slides.
If you have lots of films/negatives/slides to scan then preparing the next tray whilst scanning the first tray will save you a significant amount of time as you can prepare the next set to be scanned

ANOTHER TIP: Please be extra careful when handling slide film & negative film as they can be easily damaged & marked. Please look at our product links for cotton gloves to handle your films. These allow a soft & grease free touch & can help with final cleaning & dust removal prior to scanning. They are lint free & ideal for reducing unwanted dust marks on your final images. May save you a lot of time
Also we have listed dust-blowers & brushes for dust removal from your films/negatives/slides, dust can be annoying when scanning so a few moments pre-cleaning your processed films will save time in removing dust marks post scanning..
