Have you ever wanted your own personal cycle lane? Well OK that's never going to happen but this rear 5 LED light does go some way to living the dream! It has an innovative 'laser lane' function built in creating a bright kind of safety zone if you like. The idea is to make cyclists more visible at night & encourage motorists to give them a wide berth. This can only be a positive thing.
Even as a standard rear light, the 5 LED's are very bright & offer 7 functions, varying from static to slow blink & all manner of flashing styles between.
One simple design feature that I do like is that unlike many cheap rear lights that offer a very narrow light is that this unit offers a much wider viewing light (approx 260 degree) as the 4th & 5th LEDs have been placed in the far corners of the window therefore offering a greater visibility angle for any side approaching traffic.
Taking standard 2 x AAA batteries makes powering as simple as it gets, not to mention cheap (especially if you know to buy your batteries from 7dayshop too!).
