Reflected light helps to balance the light between the light source and the shadow areas, and is especially invaluable for "fill-in" light when taking portraits, close-ups, still life, nature (flowers etc.) and also product photography etc...This clever 5 in 1 unit is reversible and also double sided (this gives 4 panels) and the unit itself has a white difuser panel fitted, hence "5 in 1"..Use the white or silver panel for fill-in work and the gold panel for reflected light with a pleasant warming effect, which can help to improve skin tone. Use the black panel for reducing highlights and reflections etc. Use the white opaque diffuser panel for creating a softer and more balanced overall
light (called key shifting) with less shadow and highlight definition too.
