Screenwriting duo The Hong Sisters ( The Masters Sun) reunite with director Park Hong Kyun after The Greatest Love for MBC drama Warm & Cozy. The romantic comedy brings Kang So Ra ( Misaeng) & Yoo Yeon Seok ( Answer Me 1994) to beautiful Jeju Island where the love between an unfortunate young woman & a wealthy restaurant chef blooms. The drama co-stars B1A4s Jin Young ( Sing Again, Hera Gu) as a waiter, Kim Sung Oh ( The Night Watchmans Journal) as the town mayor, Seo Yi Ahn ( My Homes Honey Jar) as the heros first love, Lee Sung Jae ( The Kings Face) as the heros brother & Kim Hee Jung ( Living in Style) as a Jeju female diver. So Ji Sub ( Oh My Venus), Girls Generations Seo Hyun, Go Gyung Pyo ( Answer Me 1988) & Son Ho Jun ( Mrs. Cop) also make cameo appearances.
Lee Jung Joo (Kang So Ra) plans to purchase an apartment in Seoul but her younger brother Jung Min (Go Gyung Pyo) takes her money to buy a dilapidated village house on Jeju Island instead for his caf business. To stop her brother, Jung Joo immediately rushes to the airport where she happens to meet Baek Gun Woo (Yoo Yeon Seok), who has opened a restaurant in Jeju to win his crushs heart. While looking for her brother on Jeju, she discovers that her boyfriend has married someone else. To make matters worse, her boss informs her that shes been fired. Having reached rock bottom, Jung Joo decides to pack her bags & move to Jeju for good, & she ends up in the same town as Gun Woo. Mistakenly believing that Jung Joo suffers from a terminal disease, Gun Woo passes ownership of his restaurant to her out of pity. The two end up living together & gradually form a bond even though they always clash with each other due to their different personalities.
