Nearly a decade after Mr. Lee Vs. Mr. Lee, Shim Kwang Jin presents another warm family tale in his long-awaited directorial comeback Unwanted Brother. Jeon Suk Ho ( Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River) takes the starring role as a swindler who plots an evil scheme to steal the life savings of his mentally disabled brother, played by Jin Yong Wook ( Operation Chromite). Dong Hyun (Jeon Suk Ho) is sentenced to jail after getting involved in real estate fraud. Burdened with huge debts, he is forced to donate his kidney to the ill loan shark. He comes up with the plan of deceiving his mentally disabled brother Dong Geun (Jin Yong Wook) into replacing him in the operation. Though they havent met each other for seven years, Dong Geun welcomes Dong Hyun into his apartment, where Dong Hyun encounters his brothers roommates: blind Sun Woo (Lee Jung Joo) & Down syndrome patient Jae Jin (Lee Hyuk). In order to seize Dong Geuns considerable savings, Dong Hyun offers to look after his brother, but Dong Geuns caretaker Eun Ah (Min Ji Ah) steps in to stop him.
