Ha Ji Won is back in action heroine mode for the period adventure comedy The Huntresses! Kang Ye Won ( Ghost Sweepers) & Brown Eyed Girls Son Gain ( Closer to Heaven) join Ha Ji Won in this rollicking Joseon answer to Charlies Angels, directed by Park Je Hyun ( Gingko Bed 2). The three actresses play skilled (but sometimes silly) bounty hunters Jin Ok, Hong Dan & Ga Bi, who get hired to locate a missing envoy originally enroute to deliver a stauroscope to the king. The mission turns them into the target of the assassins also after the envoy, but this trio is more than capable of beating the men on their tails & solving the conspiracy themselves. Ko Chang Seok co-stars as the handler who brings jobs to The Huntresses, while Joo Sang Wook is a warrior on the chase.
