The date is September 9, 2009, & reporter Yu Chor Gin (Priscilla Wong) has just finished covering the mass weddings occurring on the lucky date when she is sent to cover a fire that claims the lives of a couple. This causes Chor Gin to think about her fathers untimely death & how she was unable to see him one last time. Wandering around, lost in her thoughts, Chor Gin meets Lok Tin Sung (Raymond Wong), the brother of the woman who died in the fire. Like Chor Gin, Tin Sung was also unable to say goodbye to his sister. The two keep each other company, & at the end of the night, Chor Gin decides to send a text message saying "e;I miss you"e; to Cheng Yat Hei (Tony Hung), who has been pursuing her.
The year is now 2013, & Chor Gins relationship with Yat Hei has ended after four years. A chance meeting brings Chor Gin & Tin Sung together again, & the two begin to communicate through text messages...
