Hard-boiled cop Sung Jin (Son Hyun Joo) catches serial murder suspect Tae Sung (Jo Dal Hwan). However, he finds that the real culprit is someone else. Gyoo Nam (Jang Hyuk), a cold-blooded intelligence agency chief, intervenes in the investigation. He promises to pay for the surgery of Sung Jins disabled son, but in return Sung Jin needs to provide fabricated evidence that proves Tae Sungs guilt. Smelling a rat, Sung Jins journalist friend Jae Jin (Kim Sang Ho) advises him to stop investigating the case but eventually falls victim to this evil scheme. Knowing very well that Gyoo Nam caused Jae Jins death, Sun Jin vows to unveil the secret plot at all cost.
