Product Description

The screenwriter of The Chaser, The Yellow Sea & Confession of Murder, Hong Won Chan makes his directorial debut with the psychothriller Office, which premiered out of competition at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. A crime thriller with a satirical bite, the film chills in more ways than one, compounding the murderous spree of an unhinged killer with the everyday horrors of the modern corporate workplace.

Kim Byung Guk (Bae Sung Woo, The Royal Tailor) seems like your typical salaryman until the day he returns home, pulls out a hammer & kills his entire family. The next day, Detective Choi (Park Sung Woong, The Deal) shows up at Kims workplace to question the employees about Kim who is now at large. His colleagues all insist that they noticed nothing out of the ordinary, but Choi suspects something amiss, & tries to get more information from mousy intern Mi Rae (Ko Ah Sung, Snowpiercer). The more Choi digs around, the more he learns about the miserable circumstances of Kims workplace & the many signs that his final destination may be the office.
