Hong Kong action queen Michelle Yeoh teamed up with her Royal Warriors director David Chung again in the period action adventure Magnificent Warriors. Co-starring Richard Ng, Lowell Lo, & Chindy Lau as comic sidekicks, plus leading man Derek Yee who was already changing from a movie star to a director, the 1987 D&B Films production features nonstop action scenes & incredible stunts choreographed by Stephen Tung, Stanley Tong, & Blackie Ko. Yeoh got so badly injured during the shoot that she had to take a break from action films & even contemplated retiring from her budding cinematic career.
