Legend of Fuyao is set in an ancient mystical China divided into five lands with the Wuji Imperial City as the seat of the states. Yang plays the eponymous Meng Fuyao, a swordswoman of the Xuanyuan Sect in Taiyuan. In order to collect the secrets to deciphering an ancient seal, Fuyao sets out on a dangerous adventure across the five lands. On her epic journey, she meets & falls in love with Prince Zhangsun Wuji.
