Adapted from the classic Korean satire Bae Bi Jang Jeon, which denounces the hypocrisy of men, A Celebrated Gisaeng emphasizes sexuality & eroticism in its racy take on the tale of renowned gisaeng Ae Rang.

Famous for her bedroom skills, Ae Rang (Kim Min Young) has the ability to seduce any man in the world. One day, an official who refuses to philander with gisaengs is assigned to her village. Ae Rang wages a bet with a magistrate that the upright official will eventually fall to her temptation.
