Sales manager Zheng Kai (Leon Lai) is making great strides in his career & planning to marry his fianc e Linlin (Han Chae Young) soon. But then his life suddenly takes a downturn. Things go wrong at work & he is forced to take the blame, leaving him jobless & in debt. After drowning his misery in alcohol, Kai gets picked up at the roadside by an unregistered taxi driver (Geng Le). He drunkenly confides all his troubles to the mysterious driver & calls him a friend. Soon after, Kais former boss is killed & Kai inexplicably becomes the prime suspect. Kai & Linlin try to make sense of the strange events following them, but danger has already arrived at the doorstep.
