To Cheuk Fung (Kenny Wong) is the super serious & unsmiling Chief Inspector of the Kowloon West Traffic Enforcement & Control Division (E&C). Despite Tos sternness, rookie officer Bui Sam Jou (Sisley Choi) isnt afraid to approach him & tries her very best to show her dedication & potential to him. Bui discovers that his unfriendliness is due to the death of a colleague.

Sze Ma (Benjamin Yuen) is a former E&C Division member who has been promoted to Inspector of the Accident Investigation Unit (AI). Obsessed with physics, Sze Ma loves explaining everything with data & logic. His odd behavior often offends others, leading to a slight rivalry between the E&C & AI teams. Sze Ma & his new subordinate Yiu Yiu (Natalie Tang) dont get along well with each other at first. However, over time Sze Ma becomes increasingly attracted to Yiu Yius personality, & Yiu Yiu is also very grateful to Sze Ma for helping her overcome the tragedy of her parents death.
