Part 1
A continuation from the 2008 drama special, Part 1 opens with stern conductor Chiaki (Tamaki Hiroshi) being assigned to revive a failing Parisian orchestra before its forced to shut down. Meanwhile, cheerful piano wunderkind Nodame (Ueno Juri) continues to struggle to balance her devotion to Chiaki & her studies at the music academy.
Part 2
Picking up where the first film ended, successful conductor Chiaki has moved away from Nodame to concentrate on his career. Aspiring to meet her boyfriends level, Nodame starts to work harder than ever to improve her craft. However, Nodames opportunity to fulfill her dream of performing with Chiaki on the same stage is thwarted when famous piano prodigy Rui (Yamada Yu) steps in. As Nodame hits her lowest point, Maestro Stresemann (Takenaka Naoto) decides to give Nodame a chance that rocks the classical music world. Will Nodame & Chiaki ever come to terms with each others talents?
