EXOs D.O. ( Unforgettable) & Jo Jung Suk ( Time Renegades) depict a love-hate brotherly bond in My Annoying Brother. Created by director Kwon Su Gyeong ( Barefoot, Gi Bong) & Miracle in Cell No. 7 screenwriter Yoo Young Ah, the family comedy narrates a heartwarming story about two brothers who re-encounter after 15 years of separation. Park Shin Hye ( The Royal Tailor) co-stars as a judo coach.
Promising national judo athlete Doo Young (D.O.) loses his sight after getting injured during an international competition. Taking advantage of his step-brothers condition, Doo Sik (Jo Jung Suk), who is in prison for fraud, uses taking care of Doo Young as an excuse to plead for parole. Meanwhile, Doo Young has shut himself off from the world since losing his sight & suffers great stress when his annoying estranged brother suddenly shows up to live with him. Beyond his expectations, Doo Sik does help him cope with his disability, & the enmity gradually turns into warm brotherhood. Just as Doo Young begins to find his footing in life, Doo Sik is diagnosed with a deadly disease.
