Retired television stars Sheung Ying Hung (Liza Wang) & Miu Sing Ho (Gigi Wong) have been sworn enemies since their heydays, despite their mentor Fung Hun Mans (Chung King Fai) many futile attempts to patch them up over the years. Ironically, Sing Hos son Chong Ka Long (Chin Ka Lok) married Ying Hungs daughter, who died giving birth to their son. The tragedy has added fuel to their already fiery rivalry, so much so that Ying Hung will do anything to ruin Ka Longs budding romance with news reporter Heung Nai Hing (Eliza Sam). Meanwhile, Ying Hungs son Chak Yau Sing (Him Law) has fallen in love with Sing Hos niece, renovation worker Kwai Yee Hei (Mandy Wong).
